We`re excited to share that our Langley club has received a 2026 Neighbourhood Grant from The Starbucks Foundation! Thank you to the local Starbucks partners who nominated us and recognized the work we`re doing in Langley. BGC`s 10 neighbourhood Clubs are open every day after school and during school closures. During this time, kids and youth can explore their interests and discover what makes them amazing, all in a place that feels like THEIR place. A place where they don`t feel like they`re being supervised (but they are), and a place where they CHOOSE how they spend their time.
That can look a little different for every kid! That`s why we`ve got something for everyone, from sports, physical activity and games to creative arts, STEM, homework help, leadership programs, cooking and SO much more.

It truly wouldn`t be Club House Gala without @Mccarthytetrault! We couldn`t be more excited to share that our #BGCBesties are BACK for another Gala. Their incredible support, year after year, has a direct and lasting impact on amazing kids and youth right here in our communities!

Each year, thousands of kids and youth make their way (by boat!) to our very own Camp Potlatch for a BGC style home-away-from-home wilderness adventure.
�During their week at Camp, kids and youth get to soak up experiences and opportunities that only a place like Camp Potlatch can offer. Things like sea kayaking, scaling natural rock walls, and SO much more. But behind all of that is the goal of building a sense of community, self-confidence, and resiliency in each one of our campers.
The true cost for one week at Camp Potlatch is $1,250 per camper, and we believe that every kid who wants to go to Camp should get to go. So, families pay what they can when they register.

-Helping give kids and youth an AMAZING summer camp experience
Camp Potlatch staff work to provide campers (children and youth ages 7-16) a fun, safe camping experience with a variety of programs including canoeing, kayaking, rock climbing, archery, etc., as well as a 24-hour out-trip, either by land or by sea, where campers can sleep under the stars and help prepare their own meals.
BGC’s summer day camps are a big way that we (and you!) can come alongside and support local families. That’s because from 8:30am-6:00pm, Monday to Friday, Club is a safe place for kids and youth to belong while they are out of school.
During this time, kids and youth can explore their interests in a place that really feels like THEIR place.
That might look a little different for every kid, so we make sure that there’s something for everyone from sports and physical activity to games and creative arts, STEM, leadership programs, and even field trips.
But we need your help to make sure that every kid, youth, and family that wants (or needs) access to BGC this summer has that op�portunity.

Ready for the BEST. SUMMER. EVER? Come and work at Camp Potlatch! We are currently hiring for seasonal summer positions.
Camp Potlatch, a wilderness Summer Camp and Outdoor Centre located on 133 acres along the picturesque shores of Howe Sound, is operated by BGC South Coast BC, which provides a wide range of social development and recreational services to children, youth, and families in the Lower Mainland.
At Camp Potlatch, sandy beaches and unspoiled hiking territory create an idyllic environment to work, explore and play! Even though it is less than an hour from Vancouver, the camp is truly isolated in pristine wilderness and is only accessible by boat.
That means your summer could look like:
-Seeing INCREDIBLE things like whales and wildlife and oceanfront sunsets
