Did you know...There`s a whoooole lot of @whitecapsfc fans at BGC?! 40 of our amazing kids and their families had a blast helping the Whitecaps kick off their playoff run. They enjoyed the game, transportation, and delicious food aaaaall courtesy of our #BGCBesties, the Whitecaps. After a BIG Whitecaps win, they were even invited down to the field to meet Triston Blackmon the MLS Defender of the year! This was a truly special opportunity for BGC kids, and we can`t wait to keep cheering on the Whitecaps! #OpportunityChangesEverything #VWFC
BGC’s Fraserview Club welcomes over 80 kids every day when school is out. When kids come to Club, they get to play games and sports, eat nutritious snacks, get homework help, and SO much more. Our Langley Club kids put their BEST foot forward thanks to a super fun evening with @soles4souls, @dbc_designerbrandscanada, and @BGCCan, 50 kids and youth had the opportunity to shop and pick out a brand new pair of shoes. Register now for winter break day camps at BGC`s 10 neighbourhood Clubs! Winter day camps for kids in grades 1-7 run from 8:30am-6:00pm on December 22, 23, 29, 30 and 31.
Think: Cool staff, arts and crafts, sports, games, nutritious daily snacks, STEM, and of course, hanging with friends! Yep. It`s as awesome as it sounds.
Our #BGCBesties at @haakonindustries have been supporting BGC South Coast BC at the GranFondo Whistler since 2013! And that`s pretty cool because with their support, MORE kids and youth can spend MORE time at BGC`s 10 neighbourhood Clubs across the Lower Mainland where they can hang out with friends, get help with their homework, play sports, do crafts, and so much MORE! This program was specifically designed for youth to support the development of cooking and food literacy skills in a fun, engaging environment! Another school year is HERE and that means BGC’s after school programs are in full swing! Every day, Clubs open their doors to kids and youth when school is out. And,it takes a whole lot of support to create safe and FUN spaces where kids can hang out with their friends, make new ones, and join in activities like cooking and baking, art, STEM, and MORE!
At our Fraserview Club, our Club Champion @OdlumBrown helps us make aaaall kinds of amazing things happen for kids and youth. We are so grateful to have them on team Fraserview, creating another year FULL of opportunity! #OpportunityChangesEverything
Our Langley Club opens its doors to Langley kids and youth when they aren`t at home or at school. When kids come to Langley Club, they are developing leadership skills, gaining a lifelong love of learning, discovering how to make healthy choices for themselves, and of course, learning all about positive relationships! Most importantly, this all happens through a wide range of activities that are FUN for kids and youth.
